Mary's Attempt at College for this Semester

More Than Your Average College Student

Here in Mary’s Mental Wonderland of College, we specialize in self-deprecating humor paired with a lovely note of dark humor, crippling stress, and general sobbing associated with a Biology major.

What to Expect from this Mental Giant…

Unexpected Humor

Whether it stems from a a poor relationship with my father or general teenage angst that never quite worked itself out of my system during my cringy-MCR-infested-emo-junior-high phase of humanity, but I tend to have a sarcastic disposition and a deep love for dark humor. Take all personal opinions viewed in this blog with a grain of salt and a heavy sarcastic tinge.

A Surprising Love of Animals

Despite my generally sarcastic disposition, I have a deep soft spot for animals. As such, I can not and most importantly, will not, apologize for any future rants or discussions involving such.

…Also yes, that is a dachshund. My family has professionally bred them for over 12 years and I have an embarrassing amount of pictures of my own puppy on my phone.

An Honest Love for English

Before deciding I wanted to be a Vet for the rest of my life and incur thousands of dollars of debt, I contemplated being an English major because I love the subject so much. Due to that deep love of the topic, I take my writing and work very seriously. I am extremely hard on my own work because I refuse to turn in anything that isn’t 100% full effort written.

Let me tell you, as someone who literally lives inside of the brain of the person dictating this blog…10/10 would recommend sticking along for the ride.

Mary Wantz, Deeply Sarcastic Human Writing this Blog

10/10 great mother, always remembers to feed me, takes me on long walks, sometimes forgets to give me extra belly rubs but she talks a lot so I guess it’s okay.

About

Mary is an outstanding student most days of the week and a pretty social human being, if not a little shy. I suppose this blog will be a new way to view her work, may prove interesting.
